Community Acupuncture

What is it?

Community Acupuncture is acupuncture in a small group setting.  After an individualized intake, patients sit in comfortable chairs, fully clothed, in an open room to receive treatment.  Acupuncture treatment points are located in easily accessible areas, mainly below the knees or elbows, in the ear and/or the top of the head.

Who could benefit from it?

Community Acupuncture is perfect for those who need a more affordable and less time constraining alternative to private one-on-one sessions.  It is also great for those who are suffering from an acute illness or injury and do not want to wait for an available appointment.  Additionally, most patients benefit from multiple treatment sessions in one week at the start of their healing and coming to a Community Acupuncture session can help bridge the gap between regular weekly appointments.
